---> Get your Deco multigame Here <---

Next Revision is complete.
Assembled using the metal clips from security dongle.
Before assembly I used countersink on the back side so the flathead screws will sit flush with the back.
If i get more time, I will add the countersink to the design

I used:
3pc M3x25 flathead screws (do not install screw in hole closest to ribbon cable at the top)
2pc M3x5 socket head screw to hold clips
5pc M3 nyloc nuts.
Latest (final?) revision is on the printer now.
Added vent holes, text and vent slots.
Once I get this one fitted up, I will confirm and post STL for anyone who would like to print their own.

I am confident the design will work, here is the model for anyone interested.

Please dont sell or post on Thingiverse, personal use only.
I can print and ship for $25 if you dont have a printer.

Just found this thread. My DECO cabinet boots but stays on the blue screen with the ”000” because my casette player is not turning.
Could I use this multigame instead or do I have to fix the casette player first?
I don’t want to remove anything from the cabinet because I want it to be as original as I can keep it.
If there needs to be soldering or anything then that’s not a problem.

This multi replaces the tape and the dongle for each game. You are OK with this multi and you don't need your tape anymore.

Get in touch with @Mitsurugi-w to get yours.

This is an awesome solution for your problem, No soldering, plug and play.
AND you can play the whole library from Eprom, no tape or security dongles to keep track of.

Its one of my favorite @Darksoft multis.

I designed a 3D printed plastic case that holds it perfectly, you salvage the clips from a security dongle and transfer them over to my case and its super clean and cable routing is perfect.

Worth every penny IMO.

if you have had yours running one game off a tape, you will be very happy when you see how deep the library is and how fast the games all load.
If you look for the 3D printed case and the Repro base plate I built for this system, you will see how the cables need to route etc.

If you have questions on how to mount it etc when you get yours, post up here.

If you have a 3D printer, I posted the model for the holder I designed, you can get that printed and have it ready for when the multi arrives.

Good luck!

I do Have a 3d-printer. I would love your STL file.
Geez, now I have to buy a filament that matches the cabinet.

Adding my name here for when/if any more multis are made. Picked up a Deco Burgertime upright that I am restoring, complete internals, phat stack, but no working games of course.

I’m currently rolling my own DECO multi on rPi-jamma for now while I wait for the next run of Darksoft multis.

The only issue I have is the deco bios for Mame running the 120 sec counter on each game launch. Has anyone patched the bios to reduce/remove the counter for use in these circumstances where the tape is no longer used?

If so could they point to where I can find it.

Thanks
