Help, linking 2 WMMT3 Cabinets for 2 Player!

Not sure. Could be not plugged in properly or bad cable?
Maybe you can contact the seller to see if he can help you.
can you share a photo of your settings for each cab, the settings with PCB ID and Machine count.

also your current dip switch settings on the physical I/O board.

Would buying a PCIe card work for the ethernet port replacement? Would it need drivers? Which ones would be plug and play?

No, the stock OS will only use the built in network card. The PC is very old and predates PCI-express anyway.

The IPs are static, and the machines communicate with each other via multicast traffic. You need a hacked image to change the IPs which isn't public yet. (yes I'll get to finishing it eventually very busy atm)

IMO try a switch. Each PC should give you a link light when plugged into the switch. If one of them doesn't, then you know the PC that's having an issue.

Here are pcb ids and machine count. They're in Japanese but they say the same things as in English. I also included pictures of io pcb dipswitches and front of the PCs of both cabs.

Back to the facts. You've seen it work linked. But what did you see? In 2 player set up, or with 4 players?

It makes no sense for 1 ethernet port to have the leds lit up, if the other machine's ethernet port is bad and has no leds..

If you have a switch or router, connect both machines there, do both machines have a lit up ethernet port on the back then?
And on the router's port indicator lights?

(Set them as 3 machines or something, perhaps this has to do how the ethernet port behaves?)
This can just be a router w/ no internet, just a power supply. We need to know if those leds light up.

Did you try and set them as 3 machines using the cross cable, does that work? (albeit with a complaint it can't find machine #3)..
