help with a Naomi 1 (crazy taxi )

I've got a odd issue with a crazy taxi I'm working on. I keep getting "Error 22. Display: COMMUNICATION ERROR OCCURRED BETWEEN MAIN BOARD AND OPTION BOARD.

But a crazy taxi doesn't need a DIMM board, this there some setting that i need to change on the Naomi 1 ?

any advice would be a great help

Go to setting then go to game assignment, make it 1player only

My guess is it's a faulty cart.
