I am new here. I originally signed up for this forum after I purchased a gorgeous NEO-GEO 2 Slot arcade cab on craigslist with a horrible green monitor. I have been visiting daily due to DarkSoft's upcoming flash cart.

My neo-geo monitor is still pretty green, but I love it none the less. I've had the monitor in parts on my wife's dining room table twice now. Replaced the common capacitors, replaced the HOT, and the flyback. I am told I might need to rejuv the toob next.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello! Not talk about my arcade cab

The green issue could be a bad color drive transistor or bad color pot on the neckboard.

Thanks! Got it for $400. It came with a 161-in-1 multi cart, Aero Fighters 2, Metal Slug 4 (which seems glitchy or a boot leg, not sure how to tell)...

Basically everything was broken, lights, locks had no keys, light bulbs all burned out, speakers wired wrong, crud under the control panel, joysticks had broken switches. The guy didnt even know how to open up the control panel.

After a trip to home depot, everything was working except that darn screen being green =)
