I'm looking all over the internet to buy this infini key and I can't find it anywhere for sale that ships to the US. Maybe someone here can give me a lead on where I can get? Thanks

Yes and that's the site I've looked before, there's another site that says they have around 80+ units in australia or new zealand but the site doesn't ship to US.
I've even sent a message to Undamned privately here and his youtube channel but no answer.
Hopefully he is okay. Great dude, I even got more cps2 boards and need more I-keys.

I'm late to the party, but does Infinikey work with the "all in 1" metal cased CPS2 boards?

*EDIT* NM, I watched the video.

Apologies to those trying to buy them from sneeknet outside Aus/NZ/Japan. We set this store up as a labour of love just to make sure there was stock of things like this in our part of the world.

I have a super busy day job and don't have the time or stock levels for international shipping. Hopefully Undamned will be back with more global stock in the near future.

THATS where I saw them!

Are you saying you won't ship outside those areas?

This is the first time in recorded history that Aus/NZ has better supply and shipping than the rest of the world. For once in my life I’m living in the right place!

Yeah we get screwed pretty often. Still remember the drama over trying to get some Voultar stuff for my SNES. People think we live in some third world country or something.

I have been meaning to buy these for years now. Kept checking and as of a few weeks back, there were over 45 in stock.

Checked the other day and there were only 7! I bought the last 7 but need about 20. More annoying, it cost me more for 7 than when I was going to order 12 a couple of weeks ago. That's what I get for waiting.

Sure hope they will be in stock again!

I'm slowly coming to learn that this hobby really does not reward patience - now if I see something that I want at a price that I can afford I buy it, prices never go down, stock always runs out. I'm mildly annoyed that I didn't buy more of these when they were in stock a few months ago too :)

Will they ever come back into stock? Hard to say, UD has been pretty quiet recently...

Indeed - if you see something and you want it you need to grab it while you can. Most projects are hobbies or created to solve a specific issue and the creator sells a few to fund their costs

The current component shortages are making it a lot worse :(

UD has been busy with life - hopefully he will find some time to replenish stock on some of his products

I love the InfiniKey-CPS2, I have them in many of my boards.

I know the feeling about being busy with life…

In light of the scarcity of Undamned product, however, I went with a PIC12 solution. That, and I was trying to keep myself occupied during the second and third COVID-19 lockdowns of 2020 and early 2021 here in the UK.

It’s based on konosuke’s ‘CPicS2’ project, itself a PIC12 implementation of the original Arduino ‘CPS2 desuicide’ routine developed by Ed Cruz following the research he, Artemio and I did back in 2016. I performed some optimisations to the PIC12 code (not that there’s a great deal to optimise), and I truly believe that the resulting hex is the smallest and quickest that it can possibly be.

I made a few different versions, compatible with PIC12F509, and PIC12F675 or PIC12F683, following konosuke’s pinout, and also secondary versions following aje_fr’s pinout, for no reason other than ‘why not?’

I then designed - and had produced - some little PCBs onto which the PIC12 chips can be soldered (socket optional). I went with DIP package chips as I had some lying around already, and I’m absolutely dog shit at SMT soldering by hand. The PCBs are mostly only useful for later revision CPS2 B-boards which have the CN9 header, though. I guess they could be jumpered to non-CN9 boards, and it might be a bit tidier than soldering the chip’s legs directly to the pins on the B-board, but I haven’t tried that yet.

I’ll dig out the hex files and will share them (with the Gerber files for the PCBs) when I have a moment over Christmas/the new year.

Oddly enough, I just bought a CPS2 and was looking at potential CPS2 Infinikey cause I'm sure I'm going to need one with the B board I'm getting being unconfirmed operation. I'm looking forward to this to at least be able to test everything. Thanks for making this and everyone else involved.
