Jamma Blast City + Naomi 2 - - running netboot VS GD Rom?

Hi all, I've been reading to figure out how to get my VF4:FT disc working in my new Blast City and it's just so freaking confusing.

A: Do I have to install a new power supply to use EITHER netboot or GD Roms? My cab has just a Jamma loom, no JVS.

B: For the work/money I have to put in to get GD ROMs working, is it just more worth it to aquire netbooting?

Either way, if you could explain what I have to do, or link me to instructions, much appreciated!

I have:
Working Naomi 2 board
no DIMM cart
Untested GD Drive with no power cable
Capcom I/O.

Naomi 1 carts work great in 15 kHz and 31 kHz.

Apologies for making probably a billionth thread on these.

Trying to research this stuff with ADHD while watching kids is maddening lol.

Depends on the state of your power supply. Personally, I haven't had issues with GDROMs with the stock PSU in a Blast, but I know others have. YMMV.

You need

-001 loom with the JVS power connectors
Power cable for GDROM
DIMM cart that has firmware 3.17 or over
