Ok thanks, i just wanted to be sure it was not on my end or my faultMy dumps are original, so protected, your game crashing is the protection kicking in.

?it's common if in the case of failed protection check game doesn't hang at very beginning, and works like everything is OK, but became unplayable in one or another way later. iirc it was highly recommended by Sega to implement protection check this way.Hi!
I have a crazy thing for my original Dead or Alive
I forgot to put the security PCB back, the game works without WTF?

perhaps DOA is one of such games?
add: and yes, DOA is one of those games, it does work without security PCB, for a while
PS: it is also possible your security PCB is dead, but it was "repaired" by previous owner by reprogramming program ROMs with cracked game ver![]()
Hi!Try finishing the first match....-

Yeah, i'm wanting to know if anyone else has an original kit running as these original kits do not work in my original upright.@mypinballs why does your repro has a clock if the blue original doesn't have it? Also I see several resistors that your clone does not have. Are these pull-ups?
Do I understand right that you are "reversing" the PIC based on what's in MAME? I have a better idea, why don't extract the code of the PIC?
PM SentGetting the pic code off the original is certainly an option to investigate if i can get them to work.
