But from my vast experience (I'm generally unlucky when I gamble) it's definitely not worth the risk.

I'd say it's worth half that price max, but yeah, you can ask whatever you want, whether you're gonna get it though...

Believe I only paid €100 for mine including additional ROM board and 2 additional romsets, but those were better times..

Granted I got mine about 5 years ago now, but I paid 250$ for Moonwalker.
It was fully working/battery refreshed and running encrypted ROMs.
I've since replaced the 68K and ROMs with decrypted version.

I think there was one fully working sold here 350$ or so not so long time ago. I would never pay that kind of money on broken pcb.
