Neo Print question. Dual vs single slot.

Question for the class. Do the dual slot Neo Print main boards work with regular Neo Print carts or only the expansion carts?

Expanding on this. There are graphics only carts that expand on the Neo Print system but which must be used in a dual slot board.

What I'm wondering is if these dual slot boards will also work with just the regular cartridge in them, or if all of the graphics rom lines are run to the second slot making them only work with the expansion carts.

Finding any documentation for these things seems to be an uphill battle...
