Problem with my darksoft multi stv

Hi everyone,

Hi! I have some trouble with my darksoft multi stv, some games work ( Like shienryu, colums) and some don’t (like terra diver which Launch but freeze after few seconds, radiant silvergun didn’t boot… first i was thinking that could be my sega stv mobo, but i have 2 mobo ( which perfectly works with my Die hard cartridge… ) and it’s exactly the same issue on both,
i have use a Windows computer and a 16G micro sd…

Do you have any idea of the problem? Do you think it could be a problem on the multi cartridge?,

It could be a problem of the Multi but they are all tested one by one before being sent. Can you check that your microSD is SDHC type and check it on your PC to make sure that it has no errors? Are you using a MAC or a PC?

The fact that a motherboard works well with some games doesnt mean that the PCB works well. If you are skilled with the soldeing iron, I would advice to do a rework on the 2xSH2 that each mobo has.

Post also a small picture of the microSD that you are using please.
 
My cart is a micro sd hc 16gb (sandisk) , I was using a PC (windows 11).

Everything looks OK. Are you able to rework those SH2? Do you have someone near you with a 3rd STV mobo?

If that's not the case, PM me and I'll have a look.
 
No, unfortunately I have no welding skills for the reflow ( really if not the choice I can try...) and also no availability for a 3rd mobo... ( I already bought the 2nd in addition...)
The strange thing is that my 2 mobo launches the original game of "Die hard" perfectly and that with the multi, the latter does not work... I wonder if I did the manipulation of installation of the microsd... in short I am lost!

PM me and you can send the cartridge back to me. I'll have a look. Include the microSD to see if that is the source of the problem or not.
