Mitsurugi-W, I'm wanting to wire up a Taiko no Tatsujin drum using the instructions that defor posted ( https://www.arcade-projects.com/for...help-buying-the-right-256-stuff.568/post-6279 ). While I can definitely do this using an 26pin AMP RA Connector directly to my Sega I/O Ver. 1, I'm wondering if it'd be possible for me to wire this up using the S-JIHP Helper PCB instead to keep all my wiring consistent.
1) Are the DB25's 5V pins (24 and 25) considered AVCC?
2) Also, defor's instructions say to
"connect each AD pin with a 10 kΩ resistor connected to AVCC.
AD0 -- 10 kΩ -- AVCC
AD1 -- 10 kΩ -- AVCC
AD2 -- 10 kΩ -- AVCC
AD3 -- 10 kΩ -- AVCC
AD4 -- 10 kΩ -- AVCC
AD5 -- 10 kΩ -- AVCC
AD6 -- 10 kΩ -- AVCC
AD7 -- 10 kΩ -- AVCC
AD8 -- 10 kΩ -- AVCC"
If Player 1 has AD0/AD1/AD2/AD3, and Player 2 has AD4/AD5/AD6/AD7... where would AD8 get wired?
Thoughts?
