What's new

Sad story, OK ending

my paypal was on hold for about 5months and with a negative -$1800

When they finally remove my account for been on hold,it was at $0

i call paypal right away and they explain the hole situation
As tony did a 3way type of deal
He used his credit card to the bank and to paypal and that they were bouncing to each other

Last they told me was to wait and the funds were gonna be put back

i have no reason to lie

Gonna call them again today if still nothing
I’m willing to pay bob from my own money
Hard to believe but that’s exactly what happened

The lack of ability to admit when you are wrong, then gaslight everyone involved indicates a much bigger problem IMHO.
And cursing people out and making up stories absolutely isn't making for a more credible story-teller.

SHOW US THE SCREENSHOTS or this is all a huge lie/stall tactic.

Right. When your account was at $0, that's when you received the refund. You're not owed another $1800 by Paypal, because you withdrew that amount after you got paid by Tony.

I’m willing to pay bob from my own money

Excellent. That's what everyone here wants to happen.

I will resolve this 100% even if you guys think something else or even if i get banned

And when that happens tony
I want you to give a huge apology to @BobsDude like you mean it considering he trusted you and you screw him over by breaking the deal we all 3 had

I have already given him this apology 10 times. Quit hemming and hauling and just refund him already.

@Arcade game, when you where negative -$1800, paypal had to give you +$1800 to make you go from -1800 to 0. That WAS the refund - it was done already, that's what everyone is seeing.

I know you are like "where is the $1800?" but the $1800 had to have been withdrawn. Otherwise you would not be negative, you would be at zero. That's the entire issue. Trust me, after 6 months, paypal is not waiting on no lost money from any bank. There is simply no way to be negative 1800 if you had not withdrawn it. You had mentioned you withdrew 700 for powder coating. At that point you would have been negative $700 on paypal, because there would have been $1100 left over in paypal to cover the chargeback. But your screenshots showed negative $1800. So that's the issue. That's what has been tried to explain to you in several different ways.

He knows. He is just playing dumb. @Darksoft how long is this going to be allowed to go on in this forum?

We are keeping this open until it's resolved, which I hope he will do ASAP. If you received the money, which looks like you did @Arcade game make a refund. The whole community is seeing this and your reputation is at play. If I were you I would end this with a quick refund and call it a day.

If Bob gets his return I’ll take $1200 off my mini cute listing so he can buy that since he’s been super chill through all this.
That is very generous of you but unnecessary. Please PLEASE sell you cab for what you are comfortable with.

Yes please call PayPal. Have them walk you through the money in and the money out. Once you understand where the money is you can refund me from those funds (installments if necessary).

I am actually not interested in accepting refund money that you consider your own property. I do not want money from your pocket.

I want a refund from the funds that are understood by all parties that rightfully belongs to me.

To folks that want to say that's dumb, naïve, etc. Sure true, I get it.

Otherwise thanks for all the support from all readers.

I read this entire thread today.

From what I read @Arcade game does not want to refund because based on his experience with @tonyt76 he doesn't trust he will be protected on Paypal because he believes @tonyt76 still has probable cause to reverse his payment after refund, and is waiting it out until his possible window of dispute runs out.

Even though you should have represented this fact instead of hiding the payment after multiple Paypal statement requests..

I cant recommend anyone proceed even though it sucks for @ItsBobDudes putting up with this anxiety waiting for when or even if this process resolves itself.

That being said both parties have offered a cash resolution but @ItsBobDudes doesn't want to see the funds outside the resolution funds paying to resolve the problem.
Your character rocks @ItsBobDudes . I hope more people like you exist

Outside this very complex predicament. There was something I saw on both sides that I would not like to see in forums in General. DOXING

Even if you hate each other. I should not know your names shared without your consent.

@rewrite You shared @Arcade game FB post showing Tony's real name and @tonyt76 @Arcade game showed posts sharing each others real names.

That is not OK in a hostile unresolved situation and could be remedied by modifying the screen cap you share in the future.

I'm glad people have responded recently showing interest to resolve the situation and I hope @ItsBobDudes gets what he deserves in the end.. None of this!

The dispute has already been closed and @Arcade game received the money from it. It's done, Tony can't do anything to it anymore.

There are no more resolution funds to hand out. See above.

Anyway, I guess there's no point in repeating these things for the hundredth time. I'm out.

As they say in my hometown, In all places the Beans are cooking, let's hope that it is resolved.

We realize this.

But I don’t think @Arcade game feels the same way about his PayPal funds. Something tells me he’s still afraid of losing them for some reason.

The fact that he replied yesterday gives me hope.

Make the right choice @Arcade game . Realise your PayPal funds are safe and finish the job.
