I just received the board but the box was heavily damaged and not much packing was in there to protect it.

I tried to load up Initial D and it froze before the demo video.

This had happened to me before and this is due to the BGA possibly being damaged.
I will get more info from @irepairsega tomorrow, but this might have been damaged during shipping.

I replaced it with the newest multibios that I’ve used with my 3 other machines and they’re fine. Ken @irepairsega confirmed BGA damage due to shipping.

Just chiming in here. In looking at box in pic I assumed BGA damage right away. After receiving pcb for repair, I found it would run fine on Naomi 1 carts but would freeze on Naomi 2 carts. No BGA damage found. No shipping damage found. Replacing RAM at IC106/107 took care of issue. Simple cheap repair.
