Hey All,

I have a sega naomi filter board and buttons PSW1 and 2 (test and select) buttons are not working. Looking to replace them. I wanted to know if anyone knew what button would work as a direct drop in replacement. Thank you again.

Also had a capcom io with a test button stuck on and it didn’t allow me to use the filter board service or test button. Fooled me, so check that too

Originally, they are Omron switches. You can use either the Omron B3F-1002 or B3F-1022. After that, it's up to you to choose the plunger color you want.

To avoid ruining the filter board PCB due to the ground plane drawing away all the heat during desoldering, I highly recommend cutting the old switch legs first with flush cutters. After that, you can easily desolder each leg one by one using a solder blob and a pair of tweezers to pull them out.
