Does anyone here own the trackball I/O for System 16? Has anyone reproduced it?

I wouldn't mind having a go at reproducing it if anyone has one they can loan me. Would be fun to explore the trackball games and open up the 4 player games.

@Apocalypse have you done any work on this?

More useful tidbits of info here:

System 32 SegaSonic DIY

Someone else who repros them:

Sega 837-7968 (3 and 4 player module)
Sega 834-6180 (used by Dunk Shot)

Other than SDI and Super League, what other System 16B games use a trackball?

Would one of the repro's be useful to either of you?

I'm not using mine at present.

If this goes anywhere, I'd be keen for one :)

The Scans for the schematics are here:

the pics of the 834-5902 board (top and bottom side) are attached to this post.

If this board could be reproduced, that would be awesome, because SDI needs TWO of these rare things. Better yet, it would be awesome if a single one could be created for both players.

The gerbers are still here. :)
I've also reattached the downloadable zip file from there.
Thank you so much! I have another question: do you know how the trackball plugs into the board? I haven't seen any photos showing the inside of a trackball panel or how exactly 3 of them are supposed to connect to the IO board. I'm going to have to make them myself so I really need to figure out what's required and how to connect it.

I'm not familiar with the technical details, sorry. But no doubt experts will help you. :)
