Been repairing my rare systems and I have successfully replaced the faulty DVR laser in my PSX, I only have one problem left. I can not get either of my PSX remotes to control the PSX. If I unplug the AC from the PSX I CAN get either remote to initially turn on the PSX but after this one act neither remote will control the PSX. Anyone out there with a PSX got any ideals

I have a PSX but haven't done anything with it for agessssss, I just downloaded a manual and translated it but it doesn't give too much info on the remotes (from the translation at least) but it looks like your issue may possibly be linked to that switch at the bottom, it seems the remote can be setup to function with multiple PSX's and they are selected via that switch. Screenshots from the relevant pages attached.

Thanks for response

I am having difficulty understanding those instructions

Neither of your remotes are set to position 1 on that switch which is the default position at time of purchase

I already tried all three positions and made the corresponding changes in the PSX remote menu
