After desoldering the jumpers I have this...So I need to unsolder everything... I hate do soldering thing's.... anyway THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Doing a progear and am a little stumped.
I see there's simm 1 a,b,c,d and so forth but do not know what slot that would correspond to with eproms.
My best guess is simm 5 is slot 11 and simm 6 is slot 12 but beyond that I am lost.
Can anyone please shed some light on this?

First attempt at doing a conversion. Was hoping someone could confirm if my config is correct. Trying to convert a SFZ3 to a Marvel Vs Capcom. Already have an Alpha 3 and this board had suicided, also the original maskroms were all corroded. Cleaned up well fortunately. So I have the PALG that was in SFZ3 so should be good there.
have the following for chips
Slots 1-2 27c010 (two diff manufacturers but shouldn't be a prob, let me know other wise)
Slots 3-10 27C4096
Slots 11-20 27C322 (all rom files I have for these are 4096kb so assumed I needed these even for the sound roms which I thought MAY be odd...maybe not)
my jumpers are as follows
SOOS-SO-OSOSOS-SOSOSOSO-SOSOSOSO
I burned the the MVCU 980123 version encrypted roms and installed a Undamned Infi Key with the following Jumper Settings. MVCU 01010000
Not getting anything on the screen at all yet. Any thoughts?? See attached photos for some pics of what the board looks like right now.

1) different manufacturers for roms doesn't matter but the speed does. It's the -xx number at the end of the part number printed on the chip. Must be equal or better to the original speed to be safe
2) are you able to burn a suicide tester rom? That'll tell you if the board is basically functional and you aren't chasing deeper issues than just pal, new roms and jumpers.

3) sometimes corrupted decryption key data gets stuck in the ic. Short the 3 points of exc1 for a minute or so to ensure it is cleared.

Thanks for the info, I found the original 27c010's from the SFZ3 and decided to use those instead to make everything match so the speed etc should be good. Will try shorting the ICs and see how things go.
