Toshiba Tri Sync (PBxx, PDxx, PExx) - Notes / Mods

Not sure if its any help, but at least this Iyama manual has a schematic using the 1888FTC and its pinout, etc...on page 73 I think. It might be of some use to compare with the datasheet you found.

If I get a chance, I will read though this. I used ot be able to tell ya how what every component in crt monitors were for and ho they operated, etc...I could have at one point drawn you an schematic so you could out together a working monitor, but alas, no more :D It will take some time for it all to come back to me.
Hello, this thread is incredibly useful.

Could you share the Iyama manual again. The file is no longer available. Thank you!

Bit of a bump for some related info. This Egret 3 Wei-Ya monitor I'm borrowing came with an LG A68QCU970X. This tube has the heater positive on pin 10, and pin 9 is internally tied to pin 12. The PF chassis neck board has the pin 10 and pin 12 traces going to ground, so you will blow one of the fuses if you try to run it like this. To make the chassis work with this tube, simply keep the ground ring pin inserted in pin 5, and remove pin 12 from the socket entirely before installing.

Just wanted to add a note here:

The PD2367 is usually mated to Matsushita tubes while the PD1843 is mated to Toshiba tubes. If you try and use the 2367 on a Toshiba, the image is very dim without bumping the flyback, cutoffs and gains up more than seems reasonable.

You can use a 2367 on a Toshiba tube if you change out the big neckboard cap in the corner from 200uf 200v to 33uf 200v. You then shouldn't need to touch the flyback at all as the resulting image is very vibrant with the flyback at the factory marking.

Diagnosing a no deflection issue on one a PD1843 and was digging for info on the uPC1888FCT. Didn't find the datasheet, but found this Iiyama monitor which uses the same deflection IC and has pinouts and some info on waveform outputs from important pins. Search for IC350: https://ia600508.us.archive.org/19/items/manual_HM903DT_SM_IIYAMA_EN/HM903DT_SM_IIYAMA_EN.pdf

Hiyall!

I'm attempting to fix a Toshiba PD2367 tri sync chassis. My problem is that I don't have any connectors, can someone point me the reference for those? I'm missing all of them, degauss, video in, DY, AC IN...

BTW, súper useful thread, thank you guys for all the amazing information

AC in is JST VH. Yoke, degauss etc you can use TJC2 which is all over aliexpress for cheap.
