Twin F-Zero AX - type 1 or type 3 ? How to link ?

Hi

I’m completely puzzled by what I’m reading.
- F-zero AX is gd-rom running only on triforce type 1 (source arcade-otaku)
- it’s not possible to link two triforce type 1 (thus how to use in a twin ?)
- F-Zero AX is running on triforce type 3

Is someone can help me to understand how it works ?
Type supported ? Link ?

Mine are running on Type 3. They're linked through the ethernet port.

They were before I replaced them with CF cards.

F-Zero AX will run on Type 1 or Type 3, and the games are linked via the ethernet port (on the NetDIMM in the type 1 case). I suspect you can link a Type 1 + Type 3.
