there seems to be a lot of bootlegs of Aces that go for cheap but it took me AGES to find an original one for a reasonable price
On YJ, four Sengoku Aces have closed at 18,000-26,500. Meanwhile three Blades have gone 20,505-30,000.

Honestly, I'm surprised Ace goes for around the same price as Blade. For the longest time Ace was a 100 euro game.

YAJ prices for shmups are weird. certain things go for WAY more than they do in the US and Europe and other things go for much less.

in general though if a SHMUP got a good production run outside of japan your probably going to find it cheaper outside of Japan.

Blade I've found on KLOV and eBay for much less than YAJ, Aces on the other hand doesn't seem to have been sold much outside of Japan so your stuck with the higher JP prices.

$150 shipped for Blade, and the thread had to be bumped twice because no one bit:

there are a few pages of old listings for Blade on KLOV, search for Aces however and all you find are a few WTBs and none for sale.

meanwhile the only recently eBay listing for a non-bootleg aces sold for $300:

Gunbarich has been going for silly money for a while now, I was surprised when I saw MAK asking $700 for it, last time I was in Japan.
I've had an eBay alert for it for years that didn't produce a thing until the other day, when one came up for $800.

I'd love to own that PCB, but not for that price. Cool game, but I wouldn't play it enough to justify it.
