Colour code as follow
Yellow - VCC
Red - y axis
Blue - x axis
White - ground

With the control panel open (looking at underside) you want 1 pot facing you and the other to the left. The one facing you is the x axis and should be number 1, 2, 3 (if using the Gundam stick)
1 = white (Gundam white black)
2 = blue (Gundam white blue)
3 = yellow (Gundam white red)

Y axis the one on the left
1 = yellow (Gundam white red)
2 = red (Gundam white green)
3 = white (Gundam white black)

Look like there will be a delay on the CP. Anyone who doesn't have a CP on order should get there order shipped out by end of month. Having said that BC is a shit show right now with the floods and possible fuel shortage.

Well, I feel like a clown. After some testing with real Monkeyball hardware. I have discovered (possible it was out there already, but didn't notice it) If you are using the Gundam stick you do not need the op amp. If you do the game will be unplayable as it make the stick to sensitive. The reason for this is the original Monkeyball panel used 5k ohm pots (measure between 1 and 3), where as the Gundam used 1037 ohm pots (measure between 1 and 3). In the calibration screen I get the following. I got similar readings on the NNC, Blast City with sega and Capcom IO:

I know I will need to redo some wire harness, as the op-amp is not needed. The other thing I notice on the gundam stick is that it has a smaller actuator disc then the original so you do have more range. Having said that does anyone want to take a crack at modifying the op amp design to take advantage of the full range? The test menu can go as low as 00:0 and FE:254

Yeah wish I notice the actuator difference while I was on site. Will have to test next week.

I was under the impression that the actuator an amp existed to help adjust the dead zone and so there is more accuracy near the center position and less near the parameter.

Monkey Ball needs precise positioning while Gundum just uses it as a dumb omni-directional device.

I shared this project on Twitter and I'm getting a lot of replies complimenting your finish work. And well deserved, they look great.

PLA is kind of a pain to sand, are you doing a lot of hand sanding? I know you mentioned at least some. I can see from the photos you've posted that you're spraying a yellow and not just relying on the filament color, are you using some kind of fill primer, or is that smoothness all hand processing?

Curious if you guys thought about using ABS and vapor smoothing?

I'd honestly never guess these were 3D printed, you're doing the work to hide the crimes!
