I concur the slim box had little in the way of protection. I would hope a better packing method would be used in the future since this is expensive. Mine arrived without issue though. I popped in the MSD and plugged in the board and it works great!

Nothing to do with the multi, but any cartridge I have ever played on the F3 has thin vertical lines that roll/flicker like it doesnt seem to be syncing well. Games are playable just annoying. Again nothing caused by the multi, every real cartridge game does it. It is hooked up to my super gun and to a Samsung 19" LCD which normally handles just about anything I throw at it surprisingly enough. Is there something weird about the F3 and the video output?

Mine showed up today. I am incredibly impressed that it works, the package was completely mangled. And as others have stated, even after delivery it's not trackable on USPS.

But, it's here, and so far so absolutely fantastic. Thank you to everyone involved.

there is... I think it throws long sync pulses. On my PVM I had to adjust the settings before it would lock in the image. Here's a good recent thread between marqs and @ShootTheCore though he has an ossc in between.

Ah yes, that VideoGamePerfection thread. I still have yet to get my F3 working on my OSSC. The F3 definitely puts out an unusual signal - when I put the F3 into my CRT cab, I have to adjust the display pots substantially to get it looking right compared to other boards. I'm still running the F3 primarily on the Framemesiter, but I don't want to since the OSSC on 5X upscaling looks so much better. If anyone else has success getting their F3 to work on an OSSC, let me know!

I can confirm that the Taito F3 works fine with a JROK "RGB to Component Video, Composite Video & S-Video Encoder ( v4.x)" (with or without the optional sync stripper) when hooked directly to a NTSC CRT TV via composite. I assume it'd work with the other JROK connections also.

But yeah, when I put the Taito F3 in a cab, the color is often wrong and the picture is way to the right. Definitely the weirdest of boards when it comes to adjustments.

I've never had the sync issues, but mine throws way off to the right like aoiddr said.

F3 works on a GBS8220 as well (at least, the one that works with mortal kombat boards).

BTW semi-accidentally ordered the multi today, lol...

I'll talk to ksiegarnia to get those boxes changed immediately.
The guy orders nice custom boxes for your products, but they are way too thin. the ST-V multi package looked like it was almost custom made because of snug fit with the PCB... The PCB arrived ok, but would be nice to have bigger boxes :)

Mine arrived today in San Jose Ca. Seriously inadequate packaging. I wouldn't use that box to ship a comic book internationally.
