I'm also interested in that cab, it looks cool (haha yea just like a giant cell phone arcade machine)!
Just imagine it all decked out in Turtles in Time artwork with an LCD upgrade and a OSSC. :whistling: :D

@Cereth BTW - can you see if these cabs are available for sale? Looks like a giant iphone, but still would make a nice multiplayer cab. I like tennis games as well, plus Im thinking maybe Ill Install that Pac-man Battle Royale boardset I have in there. It should work nicely with other 3/4p games as well.

what is the screen size on that giant iPhone?

Just hook up a jammifier and then you're on your way
Unfortunately Jammifier wouldn't be good in that this is a 4-player cab, and that to support all 4 (TMNT dreams) it would need to be custom.
However you could just direct wire the control panel for DB15 (aka supergun standard) and use a HAS+3p/4p Hat+OSSC. ;)

@jassin000 gotcha. I actually have all those components which is nice. Maxed out my cab room though, maybe someday if I trade some stuff out. No 4 player cabs, all my beat em ups have 2 player roms.

I know the jammafier supports cabinet linking, so technically 3/4p support might be implementable?? Maybe @invzim Can touch up on this, see if its possible. On this cab, sega links up 2 IOs, each one handles 2 players. So it might be doable.

Really I think the best LCD/modern cab for a 4-player JAMMA setup would be a Vewlix VS machine with 2 player control panels installed on each side.
But who has the room for that thing!

I was summoned ^^ , not sure I understand the issue at hand tho. The Jammafier has 6 extra outputs that can be used independently of the Jamma edge, but looks like TMNT (if that's what this is about) requires 12.

Wondering how would we handle a 4p game (like TMNT) with the jammafier on a cab like that one that uses 2 jvs io boards :)

4 Player JAMMA game, thats the important difference here.

You don't.

Up+down+left+right+attack+jump x2 = 12 as Zim said

To be honest even @Darksoft 's interesting new JVS IO only has two Neo-Geo/DB15 ports on it (so he has also missed out IMO as it should be expandable to 4 like the HAS).

So its up to the game itself to poll the 2 jvs ios and assign which IOs to use for each player. I get that.

In the case of the jammafier though, either through a fw update or revised/upgraded version Invzim should be able to get it to use 2 linked jvs ios and assign players/button to accommodate a 4P game.
Ofcourse, the jammafier needs a way to get those joysticks/buttons inputs from the jamma edge and though extra connectors. Like Darksofts multi jvs io, maybe the NG ports could used as 3/4P ports in some future revision.

Anywho, lets not keep derailing Cereth's sales thread. Wanna find out if he can this cab though :)

It already does this, i.e. if it sees 2 IO's it will poll both https://irkenlabs.com/jammafier/cabinet-linking - but there are only 6 additional outputs that could be used in a practical way through the kick connector. Also reminds me that cab linking documentation should be updated for the JVS-PAC 2 as that one already has a 2P/4P option when doing cab (IO board) linking.

He can't. It's not a Japanese cab. It's made in the UK. Two years ago they were retailing for 2000 GBP. I'm pretty sure Sega UK sold out of them.

Virtua Tennis is one of my favorite all time series, good to see it doing well. Maybe Ronnie could get
