Getting the right crystals spec wise is the problem really.
But with this layout it will drop right into the current crystal posistion.
Here’s what I’m currently doing for the kick harness, but I plan on updating this to be able to plug it directly to the CN101 and 102 connectors on the multi for supporting the kicks as well as P3 and P4 players.
Since my setups are mainly CPS2 kick, the 10-pin CPS1 aux connectors or any other aux connectors (Namco, Sega) are cumbersome to support.

I have 37 of these already assembled to sell. Once I get the spinner pcbs in I'll start selling cables, spinner pcbs, and these control helpers. The remotes are being manufactured for me. Not sure when they will be ready yet.
I would definitely take one of those over my jank adapter.
This is what I'd like to see. a CPS2 connector and a switch to change between 4P mode and kick mode so it works exactly the same as the CPS2 and the Capcom JVS
