That’s actually a good question. I (personally) am not above running jumper wires to the correct positions on the CPS2 kick socket.
As Lemony suggests, the only way to do it, in this case, is to run 2 jumper wires.
Also, what 3P/4P games use button 3??
Ideally, I would like to remake the filter board and move some things around a bit, add a few things, but I would have to get info from Darksoft. Better yet his files for the filter board, or we can suggest changes and he or Mitsu sell these mod filter boards.
Maybe we should do a suggestion thread as to what you want to see on the filter board?

You might want to put a little space between the two solder pads.So it would look like this with the extra pads for B3s

I personally would have no problem with the current spacing. But some people are not a skilled with an iron as you an me.

That should do it. Modified it a bia and added vias to the castellated/half holes, just in case.
And checking the fitment, not bad for a first go at it

If fighting games are your thing, that's cool. But I always liked playing WITH my friends and not against them.
I suspect the DarkSoft CPS1 will become (if it's not already) THE multi that EVERYONE wants.
It was worth the wait.
I put my kit together today and installation was very straightforward. Damn, this is an awesome multi! It is quite evident that a whole lot of time and thought was put into making this the ultimate solution for CPS1/1.5.

Yeah wih my adapter you would need to solder two wires for Button 3 on slammasters as well.
I originally was going to redesign the filterboard to sell but we decided that it would be very expensive for the end user to buy compared to what I decided to do instead. The only way I could see it being worth the extra cost is if you were able to incorporate the undamed decoders into it and allow plugging usb controllers directly into it.
