What's new
I have a Leicke power supply which is 10a so I’m thinking that isn’t the problem but who knows?

What sounds issues were you having?

I don’t really understand how the save states work tbh

I’ve just purchased a sensible priced and working 1a board that is arriving next week so I’m going to test the cart with that

I’ve just tested Baseball Stars on a 161-1 multi cart and I had no issues whatsoever
The sound issues I'm having are:

Windjammers - distorted sound after playing 15 minutes or so. Just some sound effects.

Turf Masters - music drop out periodically but comes back when changing scenes.

It sounds like your power supply is fine. Can you private message me a link to where you got it or to the exact product somewhere else? I'm looking for a good one.

I don’t have any sound issues with those games. Very strange

UPDATE

I have my new board and the Multi Cart is now working as designed. Thanks to all the devs for making an alternative to the Terraonion cart

I'm having an issue with audio on "slot 1" of the multi. Sometimes the sound fx are missing, sometimes they're distorted or sometimes the music is missing. Other times the audio is perfectly fine. It seems to be isolated to slot one. The other 2 slots are fine. If I back out of the game and go back in, usually the audio is fine. I'm running the latest firmware, menu and unibios 4. Is there something I can do to resolve the issue?

It's a known bug of the UNIBIOS 4: "On Multislot hardware sound is missing if no game in SLOT 1 (bug introduced in v4)."

see http://unibios.free.fr/knownissues.html

We noticed that too on 1-2 versions of the MVS, when the Unibios is installed as it triggers very often some BIOS interrupts. Which exact MVS model do you have? Is it original or consolized?

Would you be interested in trying out the stock SNK BIOS to see if it behaves any better with that than with the UniBIOS? I could mail you an EPROM.
Nope, not a unibios issue. First game played, cyberlip, sound all good, switched to nam'75 (both in "slot 1") and nam had glitched sound effects. 😔 Quit the game and reloaded it and the sound was fine.

Does anyone have sound issues on their Darksoft cart?
Every time i attempt to play Metal Slug and a couple of other games like Fatal fury special and kabuki klash. the sound will cut out on the third stage and only soft rebooting restores it. This doesn't happen on every game. I played Windjammers and Sengoku 3 and the sound did not cut out once on them. I checked my wiring and everything is fine. Should i reflash the card or is there something else to it?

Which model mvs do you have? I'm curious to see if you have the same as mine, which also has audio issues.
