Does anyone have any idea how to change the screen format from horizontal to vertical on the ttx 2?
I have an issue with my system. Running Artax 4.1, Upgraded to i7 with 16GB (2 DIMMS), Solid State drive and upgraded video card. It was running fine, and then I started getting one been and it just stalls on the Type2X logo. It will stay there for several minutes and then reboot and do the same thing. I replaces the CMOS battery, reseated everything, even bought and replaced the RAM. Any ideas appreciated!
I'm reading up on it now. I guess I need to buy a wired keyboardThat's an X3 if you're running the Artax 4.1, this thread is for the X2. And FYI, your issue on your X3 is that the security is enabled and you need to disable it again.
Yes, I'm trying to boot w/o a JVS IO, I don't have the JVS card to connect JVS IO.Sorry, are you saying that you're trying to boot it without a JVS I/O connected? That may explain why it isn't starting up, but you should at least get the no JVS connected error.
It also won't boot without the correct GPU installed, so that might also explain things if I'm understanding correctly that you're trying this with the 7300GS.
When I tried with my multi, not having the appropriate flashed GPU and not having a JVS I/O plugged in stopped me at the same spot. My guess is, you'll need the GPU, you'll need the JVS card, and you'll need to plug in the JVS I/O to the JVS card to get to the multi menu.Yes, I'm trying to boot w/o a JVS IO, I don't have the JVS card to connect JVS IO.
I tried with a 7300gs just to see if it would boot and to make sure it was written correctly on the HD.
When you say this, do you have a JVS card, but without dip switches? If so, your dip switches are likely covered by a black piece of plastic you can remove by hand. Take a clear pic of the connected cards on your motherboard and we can confirm if you have an appropriate card.apparently x2 have a jvs card connected on pci port with dip switches that I don’t have
I don't have the JVS card at all, I can't put any JVS IO because of that, maybe I should give up and search for a complete type x2, I couldn't find a JVS card anywhere, even infos about it are so hard to find. When I tried with my multi, not having the appropriate flashed GPU and not having a JVS I/O plugged in stopped me at the same spot. I can post a photo but not right now, I'm home and the board isn't here, but I'm sure that the JVS card isn't there, I have to find one 7900gs and the JVS card.Definitely won't boot if you're missing the JVS card, I think I missed that in your previous post. Sorry!
Could you post a photo of the expansion card area of the case? The JVS card is usually all the way at the bottom.
The only way you're gonna get the JVS card (or even a DMAC/FAST card) are from part outs, I think. There's a certain Chinese seller you could try asking for one if you wanna roll the dice on him.![]()
