options are either mono or q-sound, I tried both above, with both jamma and rcas and said neither did give sound, but I might have been unclear, soory, english isn't my mother tongue😅

I see that you have the new WE DSP16A sound module. Do you still have the other one with FPGA? does it work the same with that one?

You know that there is a volume pot for Qsound, right? Did you try to turn it?

I think that the WE DSP16A is not makeing good contact. Can you push the chip more inside the socket? remove the 2 screws to do it, so you don't bend the multi PCB. If you can remove it from the socket and insert again. If that doesn't help I'll send you a new WEDSP16A sound module to replace that one.

I think it was very well in place haha, still managed to gently take it out and put bit back, still the same as before, static : (amplified like crazy so you can here something helpful(?)

(I did screw it back obviously👍)

Hi guys! I am checking stereo Q-Sound but I am not sure if it s working or not. I am trying with Cadillacs & Dinosaurs.
- I am wiring a RCA (red-white conexion) from the Multi output to my TV (Sony Trinitron).
- Sound is the same, no matter if I set "monaural" or "q sound" in the service menu.
- When sets in "Q Sound", its sounds and doesn t matter if RCA wire is pluged or not.
- I am able to control the volume with the B board knob (suppose Q Sound knob only) both monaural or stereo.

Any clue to how to know if q sounds if working? Thanks!

I think its a normal behaviour, best way to see is if you get stereo sound imaging when "Q Sound" option is checked in the Test Menu.

Do you mean when you try to program a new game? You navigate up and down and then press enter and the message ERASE MEMORY shows up?
It takes less than 10 seconds. Why?

Yes, I mean. When I try to program a new game, my multi first erase the current game and then charge the new game. My multi takes aprox 35/45 seconds erasing a game and takes aprox 1 minute in both erase + charge new game. Do you think is too much?

1 minute should be OK. Maybe erase can be a bit more than I said.
