Those of you with 512MB and 1GB DIMM boards...

Thought I'd add my 2 cents. Pulled these two sticks from an old PC: ELPIDA SINGAPORE MC-4532C0647XFA-A75 My Naomi 2 doesn't seem to have an issue with them. Originally, it only had one stick of Hynix HY57V28820HCT-H.

[solved] Nanao MS2930-S-E (Blast City) potentiometer values

You are f'cking awesome! I will put in an order soon just so i can do a little future proofing. They seem so fragile that I feel like they're going to break if I look at them wrong. I barely touched one and the cover snapped off like there was nothing hold it on!

Did you ever find a solution to your problem. I'm in the same boat trying to find an equivalent replacement.

    Toshiba E39164 Geometry Issue

Thank you for the feedback. One bodge wire later and it's alive! Not bad work for a n00b if I do say so myself. Still has the geometry issue after blindly replacing the nearest transistor to the pots. I don't think I have the expertise to find the issue so I'll probably replace them all (if...

    Toshiba E39164 Geometry Issue

I done goofed. I got all the caps I needed and got started on the crt chassis and on the second one, I tore the pad out. I'm a beginner at this and was hoping for some advice. It kind of looks like the trace runs down to the right side of thing labeled 223 right below the negative lead. Even...

    Toshiba E39164 Geometry Issue

Looks like I have my work cut out for me. I'm just now noticing a black goop issue as well. :( Do you know if there is a service manual for the 2930? I see there is one for 2931 out there. I should probably take it to a professional as I think this is outside my skill set.

    Toshiba E39164 Geometry Issue

Same results. I even tried adjusting the SPC15 in conjunction. Thank you for your help so far. [edit] Don't want to insinuate that this is sarcasm. I really appreciate your help.

    Toshiba E39164 Geometry Issue

I just tried it and turned it all the way to both ends and there was no discernible difference in the picture. Perhaps i need to spray it with some deoxit?

    Toshiba E39164 Geometry Issue

I saw the other thread about needing the Toshiba Enhanced Remote to access those settings but it doesn't appear to be compatible with the one installed in my Blast City. Is there a pot on the board that can do the adjustments? I took several pictures of the side with all the pots and nothing...

What is this connector called on my Sega Blast City and where can I buy one?

It's making more sense why all 6 buttons are not being recognized in the taito type x2 loader I got from here: https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/a-freeware-taito-typex2-multigame.820/ I've only been playing TGM3 (my favorite). I was going to investigate how to play SF4 and others later...

What is this connector called on my Sega Blast City and where can I buy one?

Thanks! The the two wires (grey and white are connected to button 6 on the panel. There's about a 3 foot length of wire which termites at the jamma connector. They exit the button panel via the hole by the power switch. Thank you for the help. I will contact @Lemony Vengeance about a harness.

What is this connector called on my Sega Blast City and where can I buy one?

The guy I bought my cabinet from said the button panel was not the original. It came with all new Sanwa joysticks and buttons. As you can see the ground wires from player 1/2 are soldered directly to the jamma connector board. It's functional, but it feels like it could be done better. I...

Hello! I just got my first cabinet. It's a Sega Blast City and I have some questions about MAME if you don't mind..

Well, I lied. I installed windows 7 and used a HD 5870 that I forgot I had and it's looking working well. The room looks like a mess with a tower outside the cabinet but that's problem for another day. Thank you all for your help. Once I have everything the way I want, I'll do a proper...

Hello! I just got my first cabinet. It's a Sega Blast City and I have some questions about MAME if you don't mind..

As my first attempt, I'm going with groovyarcade. I can get mame working, but I think I need to install it while connected to the cabinet monitor. I'm still experimenting. As for the Holland board, it's picking up all the buttons on the panel. I think the audio amplifier is weak though. The...

Hello! I just got my first cabinet. It's a Sega Blast City and I have some questions about MAME if you don't mind..

Sweet. I never throw any hardware out so I still have my Radeon HD 4870 which appears to be supported. I think my i7 4770k should be enough for my purposes. Won't know until I try though. Thanks

Hello! I just got my first cabinet. It's a Sega Blast City and I have some questions about MAME if you don't mind..

I don't really know which forum I should be doing this in so I'll start here. Please let me know which one would be more appropriate. Finally joined the club and I want to ditch the Pandora Box Dx Special it came with for my old pc. It's a Sega Blast City with SEGA 001 JAMMA with add on for...
