About namco system 11 c431 keycus(dancing eyes)

Excellent! i think the protection was used on screen transitions. Will be interesting to see how you did it!

https://www.arcade-museum.com/manuals-videogames/S/Speed-Racer-Namco.pdf

It should be the same as speed racer, techno drive, final lap R etc.

Sadly Final lap R manual shows a filterboard not the real connections. I think the speed racer is correct...
On the diagram 48Pin = 2nd connector, 56Pin = Jamma, I THINK!!
Also check/compare with the namco system 11 schematic that was posted recently to be 100% sure
After a fast test on board i find out this pins:
B7 - View
A19 - Wheel
B19 - Should be Pedal

Need a small circuit to use and send correct value.
How many ppls here think is better a patch to use normal pad ? :-)
Thanks you all !

I'm definitely interested in playing it (and the other driving games on this hardware) with a pad / joystick.

Yeah, you have found the pins, but now need to find ADC+ and - for the other two terminals of the potentiometer.

Found the kart duel manual. I have the filterboard for that game, so can get the exact pins :)

Honestly , jamma driving cabinets are quite common, but the games are not. Either way the pinout for doing it will need to be figured out.

I'm happy to tell all your guys that we dont need wheels and pedal.... I patched them up.
Here a working file for using Left Right and Player 1 button 1 for Pedal
Tested on real hardware.

input from jamma and B7 for View.

Road to multi SYS 11 @Hammy now its up to you :P

Great work!
Replacing analog with buttons is a brilliant modification.
I liked converting the optical sensor type guncon to an analog control to make it compatible with a type 2 type guncon, and it would be nice if Point Blank 2 or Gun Barl could also be modified like this.

So, might as well release these now too,
Here's point blank 2 and xevious.. i remember doing prime goal and dunk mania , but can't find the file... (those two are easy however so can be done again quickly)

I want it for a driving cabinet, so the joystick hack is not so important for me :D
The analog version is also completed?

So, it's only soul edge, quiz angel and tekken 2 versions that need cracking now, everything else is done!
Yes old file also work fine, the difference are only on input but also tested on hardware.
The only part that is not working is the service mode.

So ideal donor for future multi is 110?
All 100 works on 110?

Probably not, point blank needs the gunboard too, so another that will NOT run on a regular setup.

The only way is to clone the extra boards, same as happened for batman.

If you patch the x,y coordinate values calculated from the timing of light coming into the gun's optical sensor to be mapped to an analog controller instead of accessing the address value, there is no need for an additional IO board. If the patch is successful, type 2 gun can be used. and If there is a sequence that checks for additional io boards, it should be bypassed. This method is a patch that I applied to Model 2 Virtua Cop.
