Just for preservation sake pulled out the happ joysticks and buttons to get to this panel. Of course my fingers hurt like a mofo and can’t get the 1p and 2p start buttons out. Gonna try to get og cp harnesses repaired too even though I have some freshly made ones.

Got a toolbag just for arcade stuff. Put my bottons, sticks, wire ties, screwdriver, scissors, speaker wire, and the rest of my spare parts and tools in there. Should make the room much less messy when I’m working on stuff.

New Saturn mister core is awesome! Took all my bin cues off and added CHD. Seems like that helps a bit with compatibility and even if not glad I can have a nice organized CHD folder. Noemi have a complete US and Japan Saturn set to play around with.

Don’t know much about these cabs. But I have one now. I was thinking if it’s Windows 10
I could add some emulators maybe? It has the alls system but I think I’m more interested in eventually turning this cab into something else.

Anyone have any experience with these?

I saw on YouTube someone put the 1tb retro beast multi on it just thru usb stick I think. I wonder if the 4tb version would be worth it or if most of those games wouldn’t be playable due to minimum specs.

So I got my repaired wiring harness installed in my Astro City 2 (Thanks @Lemony Vengeance!). 1 issue though

1) I hear a high-pitched whine when I turn on the machine - it seems to go away after a few seconds - then returns intermittently. I have pretty good hearing for that type of stuff and have not heard anything like it on my other cabs. CRT chassis was recapped and reconditioned by Sharp Image Repair.

----

Also working on calibrating the picture. The colors seem off - but ill play around and try to contrast and compare with my OG Astro for reference before asking for help.
Edit : Changing the S.S.S.W (SW502) -> Visual Quality -> To A (Ordinary) seemed to make the image look more correct. Was starting to get frustrated.
