Why is the Pandora not Jamma? What does it connect to?
I think they did it that way on purpose to sell jamma adapters...

Neo XYX is vertical.100% of MVS games are horizontal resolution, the vertical shooters like Aero Fighters/Sonic Wings are vertical games but play on a horizontal monitor like 1944 on CPS2![]()
Atomiswave has buttons 1-5 on the jamma edge as well. Sega cabs are wired for this. It's just the sixth button / common ground you would have to modify.Buttons 1-6 all go to the JAMMA edge connector.
So on a standard JAMMA cab button 6 is always pressed as the last two pins are usually ground and you only get buttons 1-3 or 1-4 that work (depending on what's wired up).
Neo XYX isn't made to SNK specs since it was made well after the platform was discontinuedNeo XYX is vertical.100% of MVS games are horizontal resolution, the vertical shooters like Aero Fighters/Sonic Wings are vertical games but play on a horizontal monitor like 1944 on CPS2![]()
And it comes in a wood case! At first I thought it was a plastic case with a wood grain pattern. But nope! It's real wood!Neo XYX isn't made to SNK specs since it was made well after the platform was discontinuedNeo XYX is vertical.100% of MVS games are horizontal resolution, the vertical shooters like Aero Fighters/Sonic Wings are vertical games but play on a horizontal monitor like 1944 on CPS2![]()
- I believe it still supports horizontal mode though so it can be played in Neo dedicated cabinets.
No. Happ and Sanwa buttons do not use the same size connector. Happ uses .187" connectors, Sanwa uses .110" connectors. They'll just fall off the Sanwa buttons. You can probably ghetto crimp them, but if you want it done right you need to order the right connectors and redo them. Not a huge deal, just cut the wires, strip, and crimp. Basic wire strippers are the only tool you'll need, no soldering or anything tricky involved.streetfighterken: Thanks for that information. The holes are currently 30mm, so that being the case, will the Sanwa buttons work in terms of being able to just slide the little connectors onto the 2 prongs?
Is it the same aspect ratio/rez? Pinball DMD is 128x32.It's the same style of screen as a pinball DMD so I imagine you could replace it, but not the other parts
