+1 for spare parts, especially if they're interchangable with Taito or LS-29 spinners.

I was thinking about this type of finish for the spinner

Are the non-populated Sega panels still available or are those also long gone?

I know I am late to the party but are there any of these sitting around gathering dust?, or any plans for a rerun?

I have a pair unopened I was going to use from the first run, but I sort of want the new run that are smaller, so it depends. If you want some now, I'd be happy to sell my current set and wait for the new ones, PM me. If you want the new ones, you're waiting just like the rest of us!

I'm new so I missed out on these back in the day.

I've read back in the thread history and some recent-ish posts imply a new/smaller/Japanese version is coming but it's not totally clear what (if anything) is happening.

Other, but older, posts explicitly say there will be no more.

I have a Forgotten Worlds slumbering away in a box so I'm a buyer if they come back around.

Reviving this project and also would love to see if @TR Fight Stick replies

Is there a way I could make a controller using something like a GP2040-CE with one of the spinners? Would love to have a portable solution to play with my wife whenever I travel

Hey guys

Regarding Eco Fighters / Ultimate Ecology, I have came across this homemade adapter from YAJ

It doesn't look like the original IO board at all, but still plugs to the expansion port of the motherboard.

My guess is it should work pretty much like Brizzo's spinner adapter, but why the expansion port connector though? Any ideas? What do you think?

Description reads:

The photos are reused and may differ slightly.
Supports 1P and 2P.
Connect the 56-pin connector between the board and harness.
Connect the connector to the CPS2 expansion terminal. Connect the 16-pin connector
on the rolling control panel to the 8-pin connector with the left side aligned.
Once you turn it on, you can operate it using the lever and rolling switch (paddle and A button).
Please make sure to secure the conversion board so that it does not short out inside the case.

my guess was the kick harness provided a signal to show a spinner io was attached. otherwise, if u boot the game with out it, it wont show the "rolling switch" option.

about the brizzo spinner mention... i have tried eco fighters with the brizzo spinner adapter and the capcom io. the capcom io is significantly better and smoother. brizzo's spinner adapters just send pulses of the inputs whereas the capcom spinners have a more complex mehcanism to them. brizzo's adapter is great for puzzle bobble but definitely lacking on other games.
