Chihiro/NAOMI/Triforce CF Tools

Dear rtw,
When I enter the order, I got this message. How can I do ?

gcfi: error, unable to patch out region on encrypted files

I got this message.
 
@Mr.Seo you can only patch out the region on a NAOMI

@Mr.Seo Could you provide some details please:

. Does it not load anything ?
. Do you get any error messages ?
. Has this system worked before ?
. Where did you get the sector offset from ?

At first, my order line is as below;
In gcfi_1.30 folder has 5 files. ataid.exe / gcfi.exe / listphys.exe / MarioKartGP2.BIN / readme.txt

After above done, there are 2 files on cf card. One is ABC.BIN. The other one is MARIOKAR.BIN file on it.
I test the cf card on my triforce but it does not work. For your reference, the triforce is working well. I test it with net booting. it works fine.

'sector offset' means I do not understand. Please let me know. I get the MarioKartGP2.BIN file from mgga.

The sector offset is this number: -s 0x3244

Where did you get that number ?

Also don't you need to change some jumpers so that a Triforce can boot from CF ?
 
secter offset number is from rtw, your order line ( 2016, 12, 22, your post order line). I just follow your order line. Can you let me know the right order number.
Jumper is for cf boot dip switch. 1 is on 2 is off.
 
@Mr.Seo that sector number is from my card, you have to find out what the security sector is on your card using ataid and a PCMCIA adapter connected to a laptop.
 
As @rtw mentioned - you have to first connect the CF card to your computer via a PCMCIA adapter (laptop) or a CF->IDE adapter for a desktop computer. You can't get the value by using a usb card reader.

Once you have the CF card attached this way - use his ataid program (see first post) to get the sector offset *for that CF card* - each CF card has it's own number.

It's a pain - but you only have to do it once for each CF card.

I connect usb adaptor for cf card.
I try to get the ID from my cf card but failed. Please let me know what did I do wrong.

ataid: error, identify failed on device
 
You cannot get the code using a USB adapter - please see my note above for what you need.
 
Dear rtw and all of supporter,

finally, I did it but half. I make the cf 2 pcs. One is working but the other one is not working. Triforce said disc access denied. I will look into what is the problem. Anyhow, all your support, I make it.

Problem on CF card.
I wrote 2 pcs of CF card. One is successed. The other one is failed. I do not understand. Why ? When I saw the file name, success one is ABC.BIN and MARIOIAP.BIN. Failed one is A@C.BIN and MARIOIAP.BIN
Do anyone have the idea for that ?
