I didn't make a video but I did make a procedure.
Hopefully this help someone.
All the thanks to @rtw of course. I have nothing to do with these programs.
and this is the result on 4 seat!
edit: 2024-04-21 updated procedure to included the need for 2.19 firmware to allows any cf or ssd.
For the best results, I suggest extracting (and decrypting) the game binary from the mame chd dump of the GD-ROM. I've experienced a bad Ghost Squad dump I found online that would load to 99% and then give an error 26.
Virtua Cop 3 also works on that cab (using a Type 2 JVS board let alone in deluxe mode where it can do interesting output behavior to the gun solenoids). House of the Dead 3 on the other hand is incompatible and punts with "Error 12: JVS I/O board does not fulfill the game spec" after the game loads. I myself won't go through the trouble of changing a lot of wiring just to get Hod3 working in this cab.
Mini guide:
1. you need a DIM board with 4.02 Firmware (4.01 added official CF support, 4.02 is a hacked release that allows any CF card to work).
* Normal DIMM boards can work but you'll need to remove the flash chip and program it directly for the FW upgrade.
* You'll want 512MB RAM for maximum compatibility
2. DIMM board jumpers should be set the same as GD-ROM booting:
