Ugh this sucks. I hate the artificial holding of packages sometimes. Especially now with covid, some packages from China seem to get flagged.

Bumping this with a +1 for ANYONE who plans to get a CPS-1 Multi. This C-Board is a necessity and there'll probably be no chance as good as this to grab one after the multi actually comes out.

Basically, don't snooze. Buy one for yourself and another for a mate/backup :) Another major thanks @drfunk2k for doing this for the community. Very cool of you.

Mine arrived today, thanks.

Also... Clean A board on the way from Japan, digital AV kit and CPS2 donor case obtained.

All set, cant wait!

CPS2 donor case obtained
silly question but do the CPS-1 boards fit in the CPS-2 cases?
Physically the big CPS1 A board is very close in size to the CPS2 A board. The pcb mount points and board to board connectors however are different so will require a decent amount of case modification to fit.

The plan is to wire in db15's etc for a consolised finish as I have the smaller A board which will leave room at the front of the case. Unfortunately I won't be able to start the modding till the multi comes out as I don't have a B board to check the clearances required.

It seems a shame to butcher an OG CPS2 shell when there will be custom CPS1 cases designed by community members for this purpose

Very thoughtful of you and I’m sure many forum members ordered two (one for backup), so I’m sure there’ll be enough to go around in this community also.

Going on 2 weeks now and my order is still stuck in a shipping facility...
