What's new
Damn, bummer. Yeah all mine are from years ago, though even the NOS ones are nice on it

The detachable fingerboard kept getting left behind in my Jamma connector so I drilled some holes at the extreme edges of the connector and added screws.
The screws are 100% isolated from the card edge and only penetrate the FR4. 86E4B65B-A904-4E11-B966-6CE5955DF95E.jpeg
Not a bad idea! If could just drill into the blue plastic and run a gap you could probably retain the fingerboard with just friction. I like the concept a lot though!

Hi.

Thank you for the wonderful multi.
I made a CPS changer version of Street Fighter Zero.
The screen is distorted.

The enckey is set to B21.
If you set it to another value, the screen will be more disturbed.

Please tell me the wrong part.

Very nice, I was thinking of pulling the pins from the "gap" in the JAMMA out and pinning it there, but your solution seems simpler.

@jamesv833 out of curiosity and because I may get board this weekend, what size bolt and drill bit did you use?

This is interesting... So the theory is originally these Changer versions used a different/unique PAL?
My 32-n-1 CPS1 uses a stock PAL (~90% sure). I installed it on a new Dash board a year or so ago. The changer version of Street Fighter Zero on it works (well as well as it ever did). But I'll try to double check this later today.

Edit: Or are we talking about the PAL on the "C" board?

Edit 2 (electric boogalo) pulled my 32-n-1 B-C board and put it on a clean Dash A board. Since SF2 Alpha is the first game I didn't need to connect the reset pin. Everything loaded fine. So if there's a PAL dependency it's not on the A board.

I used a 1/16” bit and some small screws I had handy, they’re a hair bigger so they thread in. I initially planned on using roll pins but I didn’t have any that small, I’m happy with how it turned out.

Games that may have undumped 12MHz resale versions?
  • 1941: Counter Attack
  • Knights of the Round
Interested on any more info on these two, particularly 1941.

I don't see Forgotten Worlds on this list - can anyone confirm if its originally 10mhz run speed?

Hey there, members of my favorite community,

Does anyone have any spare compatible C-boards (unmodified, if possible) or know where I may purchase a decent one? I tried to reverse a modded one last night, and that went rather... dismally. =[

I heard about CandyCabClub.com selling unmodified 92641C-1 boards, although it appears they are sold out, unfortunately. I suppose I could try ordering another one from sheep_nova on eBay, although the following statement is a bit concerning: "With cut trace, notice the picture 2,but the function is the same as unmodify version."

Ugh! I'm so bummed rn that my CPS-1 Multi is just sitting around in its box....

I got one that should work with any soldering or mods. PM me

Got my remote dips today. Nice job @Mitsurugi-w I just wished it was with through hole mounts as it seems some of the switch banks are a little crooked. @jassin000 PM me and we will work on your lcd and dip case tomorrow
I got mine and it's more crooked than that. Also I'm not sure why the decision was made to have the dip banks "upside down" relative to the printing on the board. Minor stuff though. I think the fact that it's not through hole is a good thing though, kinda makes a case not necessary because you're not going to short the reverse side on anything

EDIT: Are these reversed only in that they go from right to left or is on off and off on relative to the printing on the switches? Basically, are they all "off" or all "on" when they are shipped?
