I cant reproduce that here, but I'll have a look again.I tried the last firmware and World Heroes still crash at the ending credit with both stock bios (reboot) and unibios4 (exception error handling)
Please check with a voltage meter, it may remember the time, but the contents could be corrupted. The onboard batterie works fine as far as I know. The time is correct and I can't remember when I set it up the last time.
No problem at all. As I said, we'll have a look. But 6 SLOT are known to be very picky.PS: Please don't feel offended by anything in my post! English isn't my mother's tongue
I measured the voltage. It is 3V. Is this enough or should I replace it? Is there a reason that you store the menu config on the MVS board and not on the SD cart? Please check with a voltage meter, it may remember the time, but the contents could be corrupted.
You are welcome, I'm happy it helped! Does older UniBios versions work better with you MVS cartridge? Should I get an other one or can you fix this compatibility issue? In any case THANKS a lot for detailed feedback. It's all very clear. It was already stated before that UNIBIOS 4.0 does weird things with some motherboards. If you can play it properly in your 4 Slots, I feel mucho more relieved.
I know they are picky... is there something you can do? Do you need more information or can I help? It would be very nice if it works perfectly. As I said, we'll have a look. But 6 SLOT are known to be very picky.
menu countdown timer can be found in the menu optionsHi @Darksoft,
I replaced the battery of my 4 slot board with a battery holder and a brand new CR2032 from JNX I had laying around. I have an MV4FS slot board and followed the JNX tutorial. I looks like it works now, I tried it multiple times. I will keep an eye on it. The only strange thing, the menu counter is always 0...
I also played a couple of games I don't own. They worked very well! Thank you very much
It would be really kind of you if you cloud answer or help me with following questions:
I thank you very very much! I'm looking forward to your answers. I appreciate your support
- How can we fix the menu countdown?
- Should I get an older UniBios, an other UniBios 4.0 or can you fix this compatibility issue?
- Is there something you or I can do about my 6 slot graphical issues?
That's an effec of another option called SKIP Animation. Change that option and you'll see that now you can change the counter.Yes I changed the countdown in the menu options and it has no effect at all... so I hunted the bug
I have no better ideas for your 6 slot. Probably UNIBIOS is introducing a lot of delays and interruptions which are too much for the 6 slots.I also tried your suggestion for my 6 slot board. No better results... I hope @Darksoft has any idea
Thank you !Btw I'm really really happy for your the support! I'm happy that I decided to buy a Darksoft Multi I hate drama...
Maybe it helps. We promise to have a look but it won't be inmediately.Sadly my 6 slot board runs without an UniBios and has these graphical issues. But if you think it would help, I could order a UniBios 3.3 for my 4 slot board to fix the issues I have with this board (Multi starts only after soft reset).
If you have access to a eprom burner the file can be downloaded for freeOkay, thank you very much! I will be patient
I'll think about buying a version 3.3 UniBios in the future and give it a try. Maybe next month or so.
That was exactly my thought. Quicker, cheaper and faster. If you have access to a eprom burner the file can be downloaded for free
Also loads of folks here on the forum can burn on for you
