Is that possible the board is misaligned by one pin?

I watched as I put up the board. All pins are connected properly. I also measured the connections with a multimeter. No broken contact was found. I spent a lot of time with the first faulty panel to check everything. I measured the legs of the 21 chips, all the connections. No errors found. I can think of a fault with the programmed logic chip. It seems to me that the content is flawed. Or the switch is malfunctioning for some reason. It would be nice if lydz would make the content and chip programming available.

I guess he just reused publicly available code.
When selling a product, you also need to be prepared for possible mistakes. It is the duty of a seller to help buyers. he lives from them. I regret buying it. You may have used code made available by others. But it could help by making it available to us as well.
There's definitely a language barrier involved with lydz. Maybe @sheep_nova could help out?

It's a human barrier. I had issues with his S16 multi and he never resolved it; in the end resorting to an insulting and accusatory tone implying I fabricated the issue.
He has some interesting products but I wouldn't count on after sales support.

100% ... but @lydz , please sir , make a video with how to use this custom C xx Board ... or please guys, @suverman , @-Ace-, if you purchased it , can you confirm by showing how this will work ? My intention is to use on Daimakaimura Resale game . @lydz , please sir , can you confirm if your board will work with ? i read entire theard but i didn't understand too much on how to be used .

@Darksoft & @brizzo , please can you make something in this matter to get straight answers from @lydz ? If nobody shows how this B-xx C boards works , i'm interested to see if and how it works , like ive seen in @undamned videos about his Infinikey's videos ! Until now from what i read , the buyers of his C board didn't get the results they paid for .

@AlxUnderBase It works similarly to infinikey cps1. Here it is integrated with 21 chips plus programmed chip and dip switches. Use the switches to select which game chip you want to use (cps-01, 02 etc) If you have an original Final Fight game, use the cps b-04 chip. On a Lydz motherboard, the panel works as cps b-04 with the appropriate dip setting (dip setting included) That would be it.
I assume the programmed chip may be faulty or the contents inside. Of course, the B-21 chip or other component, I do not know. I got a video that theoretically tested what was mailed to me. It worked on the video. However, I also saw in the video that it was not tested on genuine software. The hardware was an SF2 champion edition b board and it ran in Final Fight so it was a conversion.

Thanks, they are indeed an optocoupler and a relay. But... why?
Also it's using a STC89C52RC MCU (with RS232 bootloader). Not sure it rewrites keys on bootup or if it does on the fly patching.

I have tried every possible dip position. I have several original cps1 games. There is one that contains a battery. Only one game started but the picture was very striped. Do you have any idea what can be done? I have two such panels. This is a mistake for both. I think lydz didn't test these enough before he started selling them. It would be nice if he could answer too. Maybe you could say something that would bring everyone closer to a solution.

@BlackLord I'm sorry but this design is a mystery to me. Can be anything really.
I would start by disabling the key restore and see if the B-21 chip still works fine in its default configuration.

@ApocalypseI tested a game that is b21 chip and does not contain a battery (original street fighter 2 - champion edition). All dip switches are off, working perfectly. I tried it on an SF2 - World Warrior game that contains a B-17 chip. I set the dip switches to the appropriate position based on the attached document. The result is just a striped image. Same result for the original Final Fight and Magic Sword, Three Wonders (battery included) games. Presumably the code is not loading or the code is incorrect.

that's interesting. I will try on SF2CE as well to see if the b21 on mine is at least working. def can't get it to work with the dip switches set to any other configuration. nice tip @Apocalypse
