[FS] RECO PCB - JAMMA button remapping & rapid-fire device

So if I'm understanding this right, if I have 7 button layouts, and only want that 7th button to be able to run mvs in a straight row, I would wire the 7th button for each player on the P1 and P2 headers on the reco to the microswitch on the control panel directly?

I've got a Reco 5.0b in my Aero City and I can't seem to get button 6 working. The button press itself is definitely detected because I can assign it a button number and turbo type using the "classic" method, but after doing this the button doesn't do anything in-game. I'm just trying to get button 6 to be button 1 with a turbo. Both button 4 and 5 work fine for this. Any idea why this might be?

Using a standard kick harness connector up to buttons 4 5 and 6.

Edit: Tested with another Reco (I have a few) and it works fine there, so probably just a setting. I'll look more into it later.

I think this is the solution I am looking for but just to confirm; this is a solution to allow one JAMMA harness in a cab to be quickly adjusted to different button layouts, thinking MVS vs Sammy AW vs CPS2 vs Konami boards for instance

@RGB my cab has custom DB15 wiring and I want to incorporate RECO (latest ver) into the chain so I have to power it externally, does RECO run entirely on 5V or 12V is needed as well ?

It only needs +5V. How exactly do you want to connect it?

I have wired up JAMMA, Brooks retroboard and GP2040 with DB15 connectors that goes into DB15 switch box. Multi colored DB15 in below image is input coming from the swtich box:

I am thinking to put RECO just in between the DB15 input and DB15 connected to buttons and provide power from the panel connector: Like this:

@RGB I am using GP2040-CE for PC and have RECO in the chain, when I go to Controller Test in windows I see button 7 which is wired to coin button on my cab is pulsing on holding the button down, any ideas why would that happen? Before I had RECO in the chain it was working fine. Not sure if this is a programmed behaviour in RECO or I have some grounding issue?

Is it a fully converted cab, or are the controls shared? Is the coin button connected only to the RECO or shared with the coin chute? Have you measured what the voltage is on the coin signal with and without the GP240-CE plugged to the cab (the RECO doesn't read the coin, so no pull-up on the RECO's end)? Have you checked what happens without the RECO in the chain? Just the 2xGP2040-CE plugged into the CPS2IOI.
