Last AES one I saw on eBay sold instantly at $550 + shipping. (well, it was listed and then immediately went into "no longer for sale" so I guess a deal was made outside eBay) Obviously haven't been monitoring AES prices much since I no longer need carts. Should probably get rid of the ones I own, but the money's already spent and eh. Touching them pleases me.

I ordered mine in February, decided to jump on it when it was at a discounted price. I was part of the 2nd batch of orders, so Im hoping mine will be here sometime in June. People from the first batch have already been receiving theirs. Lithy over at the Neo forums got his and it's serial # is 1 lol. Nice.

My advice would to be to buy a darksoft one or a terraonion one.
I don't think these are still being made.
Maybe post an add in the want to buy section.

Its a simple fix to make it play full speed and full screen, although you may be playing on a LCD and it probably doesn't matter.

As above, both work great - I have a Darksoft version, very nice it is too.

I did, it works a treat. Even stuff like the Double Dragon One beta works just fine.

edit: the only thing Ive personally seen that doesnt work at all is the SVC Chaos SuperPlus hack. It wont boot, but at least the UniBIOS can unlock those anyway.

I have one of these and would be happy to sell it, main issue is all roms after #80 or so have visual glitches, like corrupted sprites. It's the cart itself as I've used it on multiple Neo Geo setups and it's the same with all of them. If anyone wants to help me troubleshoot and fix that issue I'll be happy to sell it on. I've since bought a Neo SD Pro which I use, so I don't have much use for two flash carts.

I have a broken vortex cart.

Severe graphical corruption on the games that will load.

Nothing past Street Hoops will load; goes straight to cross-hatch.

I reached out to @rewrite but he doesn't seem to be active here or on klov anymore.

Is anyone interested in taking a look at it?

Too bad the multicarts corrupt save games and does not work at all correctly with the save function of the NeoGeo with currently available hardware that I have found not including the original save setup. Ive tested several multicarts and they all suffer from this same bug, I would not get one for this very reason. Just a reminder for those serious gamers who may want the save feature. The games are fully playable if you bypass the save feature but it was a nice touch and a buying point for the Neo Geo.

I tested a 111 and 1, chinese 50 and 1 and also the 161:1 v3 same problem. I save fine but when I access the save feature on next bootup the cart does not recognize any save slots and just gives the option to format then all memory gets corrupt regardless if you save or not. The solution was to accept no when it asks to save. I dont have this issue with bootleg or original carts. I can reproduce this problem over and over. It could be its just the addon memory chip like the biomasta save but they advertise it as not working. I havent tried it with the save cards so maybe those work. Dont know.

Interesting. I only had an issue similar to what you describe with an AliExpress VMC bios.

I'll try to look at it later but I'm pretty sure I didn't have any issues with saving/loading.

I wish it worked. My bios I dont think is anything unusual. The biomasta type memory cards are advertised not to work with multicarts to begin with so I dont think its a secret. As far as regular memory cards yes it would be nice to get a confirmation.

I don't recall ever seeing an advertisement that the vmc doesn't work with multicarts. I haven't bought one in a few years though.

I just loaded up my turf masters save from 2 different carts. 161 in 1 series 2 and my working vortex cart.

I'm using the real biosmasta vmc.

I screenshotted the advert.

I can tell you if I tried this with the multicart it would have frozen at load and corrupted all the saves.

Im testing a bootleg of Iron Clad and swapping with an original copy of World Heroes Perfect. No issues just all three of those multicarts.

Can you please test Viewpoint, Mark of Wolves and the top Metal Slug games?. They all give me issues. I dont think the advertiser is lying. It may just be certain games. Garou breaks on both my multicarts.

I had no problems with these single carts swapping saving and loading. Some of the multicart games would work but the high rated games all seem to give me issues.
