Just got word that production is delayed, so won't be able to ship out before summerNew limited batch in the works! Who knows which FPGA gaming solutions will actually ship, or when, or how they will turn out - with MiSTer you know what you're getting. I too was tricked into thinking something was pretty imminent about a year ago, so I didn't make more expanders - but as I've gotten a few requests from operators to make more board, I'll give it a go.
I should be getting the boards just before I leave for a 6 week trip mid June. If you miss the first 'window' sales will reopen in August, pending availability.
I may do a hidden purchase link for those on the notify list, and even if I don't, the order window will be very tight - so if you're thinking about getting one I recommend signing up for a notification at https://irkenlabs.com/product/jamma-expander/
These are of course the rev 2 with USB hub and fancy cables (that also does a seppuku if connect the JAMMA connector upside down - so please use a JAMMA key...)
I would say highly likely, as the expander only uses standard connecors/interfaces and not GPIO pins. You may have to get a USB cable to connect it, as I don't htink any of the clones use a usb micro OTG port, but a standard USB A instead / pin headers. Is the Jamma Expander compatible with the new DE-10 clones coming to market?
The blackwine MVS core behaves like normal arcade, works without any remapping and you get one entry pr game - so you don't have to fiddle in the menus to load a specific game. It's some time since I did it last, but this one should do it for youI love this device but I have one problem, I have control issues with the neo geo. All arcade core controls work well but the one console core i use has issues. Is there a way to make the neo geo core behave like the rest of the arcade cores?
The issue is that 2p doesnt work in keyboard mode and joystick mode is missing the functionality that I need.
