Okay that new version is looking super promising!

Might install Ubuntu on my 4th gen i5 system to play around with it!
Guessing HOTD4 running way too fast is tied to CPU speed?

Hi! I have waited a long time to see a working Lindbergh emulator on PC, so I have to say thanks a lot for making it possible ! Great work !.

I have tried a couple of racing games and work great ! I understand the project will be progressively improved as a new version is on the way.

I am particularly interested in Harley Davidson King of the Road. I currently can play the game with the mouse and keyboard, but I find a bit
difficult to use the mouse to drive the bikes.

Will it be possible to use a gamepad to play this and other Lindbergh driving games in next releases ? How would you configure the
"lindbergh.conf" file in order to use an USB gamepad ( instead of mouse ) ?

I will be very grateful if you can make this clear.

USB game pads aren’t supported yet I’m afraid.

Many thanks for your reply ! Anyway, if it would be possible to play Harley Davidson with keyboard only, then I could use the program "Antimicro" to map the keyboard keys to a gamepad, this works.

But currently the game uses the mouse for driving and boosting by default. Don´t know if this can be changed by modifying something in "lindbergh.conf" file. I tried to change "lindbergh.conf" but it always ends up using the mouse, no matter you choose to emulate JVS or not.

So, will it be possible to drive the bikes by using just the keyboard ( and disable the mouse ) for this particular game in next releases ?

Is this possible to emulate the LAN connection for co-op or versus? If so it would be much more better than TP since it's a important mode in games like 2 Spicy

Lan just works, as we're running the games on Linux so it behaves exactly as it would on the cabinet.

Impressive! I will try this, but not familiar with Linux OS, any hardware requirement or recommendation?

Hello, I forgot to ask you something. I watched the sample video of Harley Davidson running on Lindbergh Loader V2, and the controls seems to work very tight.

What kind of controller are you using to drive and boost in Harley Davidson game, in the video you show ?

Any news for the release?

My thoughts for the delay is that there probably was a big bug found in the code that delayed the release of version 2 of Lindbergh Loader.
 
Hi guys,

I'm trying to run OutRun 2, and I'm getting the following error
Code: 
$ ./Jennifer
ERROR: ld.so: object 'lindbergh.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored.
sh: 1: ./Jennifer: Permission denied

I did run `sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386` so in theory I should be able to run 32-bit code. right?

Here goes …


Because Jennifer is the launcher it requires permission.

In Linux you have permissions settings for launching software.

( google change permissions settings Linux )

You need to set permissions to all.

I had same error when I was tinkering with this emulator.
Let me know how you get on

Could the Lindbergh Loader also run on an actual Linderberg Yellow too?
Basically as replacement for MultiBoots?

Type in chmod +x Jennifer
Then run it again and it’ll work

Won’t run on the Lindbergh, but the Lindbergh would already play the games that it’s trying to load so I’m not sure what the purpose would be?
