I got 2 more N2 motherboards on the way, hopefully that'll get Maxi 3 running for 2 more weeks once they come in lol.The connector is the same. Since your 3 will not work very long, I would kept that change manuel if I were you !!![]()
Also I'm pretty sure the same cards will work across Maxi 1-3 right? No need to pick up a bunch of Maxi 2 cards?
For me - going from a WMMT3 cabinet, and putting in WMMT2 - the serial connector was not the same - I had to use some dupont connectors to get it going. I also had to drag an extension cord over there, and supply 5v to where it wants 5v.The connector is the same. Yeah this is what I'm worried about, Seems like a bit of a hassle. Do you have a picture of that setup or is it long gone? Just wanna get an idea how it was all setup. For me - going from a WMMT3 cabinet, and putting in WMMT2 - the serial connector was not the same - I had to use some dupont connectors to get it going. I wish I could look at these diagrams and just get it, but unfortunately I'm an idiot lol. The arcade hobby definitely isn't something where you can just jump in and wing it, I have alot of learning to do. But I'm willing to pull through it2: (actually 1)

... ok so you need 5v for a the V2 cards.
The rest is the same and has nice connectors.
Isn't the NH-8P connector and the PH-8P connector different?
Half of the nh-8 is the serial cable connecting to the N2 and the chihiro. (abc and 123 above)
the other half goes on the card printer side : there are 3 active wire and they merge to another connector to go in the cash box if I remember correctly. It's hard to reach the back of my 2 wangan 3haha you might be right.

if they are not the same, all you need to know is the name of the connector : once you do, you could buy a few and make yourself a "Y" adapter cable going to each.
so this is the connector from the V2 card printer:

...which usually connects in there

but I have it going to the pi with the emulator instead! so it's THAT cable that you'll connect the V2 / V3 printer to

You recommend I pick these up?Ahhh yeah - I see what you mean - make a customer cable there, and just have both run. Yep - I did it with some dupont wires at the card reader and it worked 98% of the time that way, and was easily reversible.
