I choose karma for my well-being as I have to try and keep my blood pressure stable/low. My wife says I have to get better at anger management, so I try to be chill I try not to stress over things that are outside of my control.Good morning Derick, you know is not so much about the money. I mean, 1,600; 1,800 or 5,500 for me is a lot of money. I know some people are maybe not rich but are well off and maybe that's not an issue. For me though, is not so much about the money but about you as a person. I was in the military and at least in my time there I had the privilege to meet honorable people, and seriously this is crap that you don't do. I wish I could see things differently but I can't, I'm very sure that with all of the people here that have been scammed by him and have staments proof and all he can go even go to jail. I honestly hope he understands and pays everyone he owes because I don't care about Karma, but I do believe in our justice system.
Now, I am only out $1600 which is not a crazy amount compared to others, but that is still a sizeable chunk of change to just let go, especially on this type of transaction. $1600 would cover a lot of things I need to pay for. And yeah, I didn't say I was letting it go, I just go about things differently, and it's only publicly when necessary.
I also have to think about how much time I am willing to dedicate to making him pay back what he owes. That will be time and money that he is further taking away from me. If someone wants to organize something, a complaint with the police, small claims court, hire an attorney, contact the attorney general's office, etc...Im willing to join in. Maybe collectively we can get something back from him.
