DARKSOFT New CPSIII Ultra Simms! 8 times the size of a regular SIMM

some connections are not completely online on some simms
You said that there is a problem in the simm itself, that some connections are not in the right place? I'm not sure if I follow. If you could show that with a picture that would be helpful.

Yes if I check some simms in their slots. The pins are not completely in line. Tomorrow I will try to take a picture of it

Got mine. Works great.
Had to burn a new bios on my cart as well since it was old.
Very impressed by this project

I thought the pins were not perfectly in line could be a problem ?
I tried to clean up with contact cleaner the simms slots and it is much better. It is not perfect so I am continuing this way

Do you have some tips to clean up efficiently the simms slots ?
Thanks

Flux or alcohol isopropyl shoukd work. Try shifting the simm to one side and see if the pins align better.

What about using sand paper gently to remove oxidation ?
don't do that...

for cleaning products I personally use a product call "Liquid DeoxIt" https://www.amazon.com/CAIG-Laboratories-D100L-2DB-Electric-Cleaner/dp/B0002BBVN2
combined with a fiberglas pen for agitation: https://www.amazon.com/Megacast-Fiberglass-Scratch-Brush-Pen/dp/B09Q4PK2R1

the pen is slightly abrasive but no where near as agressive as sandpaper

basically brush on a thin layer of DeoxIt then gently scrub with the pen, then wipe off with a paper towel, repeat if very dirty
