I found the flashcatUSB Forum, and there you can download all versions of FlashcatUSB.
https://www.blackcatusb.net/index.php?threads/official-fcusb-pro-and-classic-latest-all-in-one.457/
I tried the same firmwares as documentation
Changed to Parallel NOR Mode as mentioned in Instruction NamcoSystem1_v1.2 (FlashcatUSB Build 606 and Board Firmware 5.17)
and in the instruction Video,
Changed to Parallel NOR Mode as mentioned in youtube video (FlashcatUSB Build 608 and Board Firmware 5.18)
but the flash chip still not detected.

I resolderd all pins of the namco adapter for the flashcatUsb but didn't help :(

Need somebody to help me flash the adapters...
Don't

I can’t seem to get Face Off controls to work. Any help? In the test menu the start button for P1 and P2 moves the cursor and no other controls for either player work. Because of this I also can’t flip the screen in the options.

Face Off doesn't work with traditional joystick controls. It requires a special Namco interface board to work properly. Ditto for Questar.

Right on, thanks for the explanation. I also discovered Bravoman was the same but the hacked controls on the rom allow the 2nd stick inputs to complete the controls. Didn’t realize Namco had unorthodox controls for any of their System 1 games. Bummer.

Also, thanks so much for posting the link to the Seeq chip for Galaga ‘88 owners. Was really sad to find that the game I was most looking forward to didn’t work as-is but was pumped to find that the chips are available and not expensive.

I just finished installing the Multi, however, when I power it on...I am only getting a black screen...am I doing something wrong? I thought it had something to do with the SEEQ chip, and I placed the Excel chip, however, nothing and still having a black screen.

Can you post a couple of pictures of your setup, how the multi sits, etc. Did you remove all the memory chips and the Keycus?

I followed a tutorial on youtube and removed the ones necessary, minus pal and something else the person mentioned. Also I should mention that the game I used was tank force, and I also made the sure jumper was according.

I assume the the memory modules are programmed properly, right?

It looks to me in one of the pictures that the multi doesn't go all the way in. I would try pushing them gently until the pins fully go into the socket.

I made sure that the modules were programmed properly, but I also did a test by putting the original game back inside. I will try reseating the board.

when I put the original eeproms, keycus, the board works fine....so would this be an issue that maybe I programmed the modules incorrectly...even though I believe I did them correctly. Should I reprogram them? If it is the module situation...how would I go about erasing and re-writing the modules? or can I just immediately reprogram them? Thank you
