Retro Hardware Capacitors LISTS

If worse comes to worse, I have my C2 incoming soon so I'll record the cap list at that time if no one has provided it by then.

Sega C2. All elecrolytic and all 85C. Can't tell if any are low ESR types. Seen some photos of recaps with gold colored caps.

Hey, wanted to contribute some more to the lists

I've documented almost all the systems with electrolytic capacitors from my collection.
Its all just Nintendo, I have a problem :P

This does not include any ceramics or the consoles that only have ceramics.
If there was a good way to measure those in circuit I would go for it, but this should be sufficient for most servicing.

Documented consoles:
Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Light
Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP
Virtualboy
Pokemon Mini, Pocket Pikachu Color, Pocket Pikachu
NES, NES-101
Famicom, AV Famicom, Famicom Disk System, Famicom Network System, Dataship 1200
SNES/Super Famicom, SNES Jr., Satellaview, Super Gameboy, Super Gameboy 2
Nintendo 64, Nintendo 64 Disk Drive
Gamecube, Gamecube Gameboy Player
Wii, Wii Mini
Wii U

Soon to be added consoles:
Twin Famicom, IQ-501, Famicom Titler
iQue Player, iQue Swim Box
Panasonic Q

Missing consoles:
Panasonic Q Gameboy Player
Wii Family Edition

Documented arcade:
Nintendo Super System
Sega Triforce Type 1, Naomi NetDIMM, Sega Triforce Type 3

Soon to be added arcade:
Playchoice 10
Aleck64
Revolution Arcade (RVA-001)

Thanks for all the submissions guys! I'll work on getting them copied into the AP Recap Database in the next little while.

when it says (M) after a uf, what does that mean?like in c12

Just looked it up and apparently "M tolerance rating, meaning its actual capacitance can vary by ± 20%"

I just used a regular cap of the same value for that location and it's been running fine for about a year thus far but wouldn't hurt to follow it.

Here's a digikey list minus the filter cap and the BP caps (not stocked) https://www.digikey.com/en/mylists/list/152NMW9KSD

BTW, a version of this chassis released in parts of Asia and Europe were missing the pins and NTC thermistor for the 100v degauss. For 100v, the murata part number is PTH451A4R5Q21 (4.5ohm high current). For 220v, the murata part number is PTH451A180N21 (18 ohm high current).
Just finished de-capping my KW0606A and found a few differences: MIssing: C840: 10uF 50V, C828: 2200uF 25V Corrections: (C826 2200uF 10V, not 220uf), C438: 220uF 220V radial (not C430), C420: 3.3uF 50V (not 33uF). I also couldn't find C833 on my Chassis.

Do any of the Sega Model 2 series CPU, Video (2 and 2A), and ROM boards have cap lists?

Pardon me wading into this, but does anyone also have a cap list for a CPS1 A board, specifically regarding its audio section? I’d love to save the time eyeballing caps if someone might already have a list done up.

Taito F2 Final Blow motherboard

There are multiple Taito F2 variants, so please double-check compatibility of your motherboard.

I've only listed radial electrolytic capacitors. There are also lots of ceramic capacitors not listed below.

Anyone got Taito's Kiki Kaikai? I'm missing C12.

I went ahead and used a 220/16 and it seems to work fine.
