LOL, I guess it wasn't "exact same issue!" Glad you got it working though.

@skusuma I would say do the mod if you have all the other issues, likely it will fix the sound too.
 
Hello to use in a o System only with the objective to sustitute the floppy disk for GOTEK floppy emulator anybody now what firmware is necessary for it and the file for usb ?, in addition is it necessary to special eprom or change jumper of the board , thanks
 
I just dug out a System24 mainboard from storage, are the kits still available?

It was noticed before. I have a conversation thread between you, me and Apocalypse in November of 2020 discussing this exact issue.

Either way, I'm glad it's been fixed. I'll do the mod on my PCB and send you a message for the new GAL code.

Has anyone bothered to translate the quiz games? If anything ghost hunter looks fun.
I understand these aren't the most in demand titles if not.

Also is there a wiring diagram somewhere for the i/o for the racing wheel games?
Is there any alternatives for the wheel?
 
Hello guys. I have good and bad news about the fix for sound in Bonanza Bros when using the custom romboard design. Unfortunately the sound issue could not be fixed on the current design of the custom romboard. So we had to redesign the custom romboard entirely.

So here is the new design:

As you can see we've replaced the eproms with a single flash module. This is the same module as on S18 and M92 and is programmed with the exact same equipment and software. We've also replaced the Gal chips with a single CPLD. Not only does this new design fix the sound issues in Bonanza Bros but it also allows our S24 multi to run UNPATCHED CODE for the first time.

Every S24 multi ordered from this point forward will come with this romboard by default. If anyone who has a S24 multi already would like to upgrade to this revision we will do an upgrade special of $75 plus shipping just for the romboard.

Assuming it's not a time-limited deal, can I get the new romboard when my turn comes on the M92 multi to save on shipping?

It's not time limited if you previously ordered a older revision multi.

Mitsurugi-w, I'm interested in getting the new rom board. Would you mind to do some tests to confirm the new board doesn't have the sound issues I mentioned? I'm also interested in getting the repro Analog I/O expansion board for Hot Rod & Rough Racer. How much does the board cost?
 
Mitsu if my donor ever gets out of customs hell I am in for one.
Do you have the pinout for the rough racer add-on perchance or a recommended wheel?
