FS: Red and Black and Blue and black Chewlix modern sit down arcade cabinets

As some of you have noticed I have been absent from the forums for a while. Well, to say the least life has been a roller coaster. The wife and I have decided to split up (divorce) .. its not as bad as you think as its an amicable separation and we are not fighting.

Anywho.. I moved almost all of my stuff into storage and need to downsize my storage. To that end I will be parting with some of my arcade related gear starting with my two well taken care of immaculate condition Chewlix cabs. They do not come with arcade board installed and technically are not complete .. but we will get to that later.

Up for sale are my red and black and blue and blank Chewlix (Chinese sitdown Viewlix clone arcade cabinets). These are an earlier gen model that mirrors a Vewlix in almost every way and do not feel cheap. I have removed almost all of the Chinese wiring and rewired them . The coin mech systems are present and do work but, are not wired up because I never had any use for them. All fans in the cabinets have been replaced with Noctua silent fans. Speakers and sound amplifiers are the original ones that came with it and have always sound good to me. Cabinets are set up for pure JVS enjoyment .. not JAMMA at all. They are on casters and are very easy to move. They have caster locks and levelers.

The monitors are the same ones that come with the cabs originally. They are flat panels and are 1080p with inputs for VGA and HDMI.

It comes with a Sega 837-14572 JVS - 8 button JVS.

The control panels are wired to light up (buttons and move panel light up) and includes all Sanwa components. The coin ash trays, tokens and magnetic coin inserts are included (colored to match each cabinet). Included are custom CNC built sub panels that has two (2) usb plug ins, Sound control knob (uses RCA jacks) and six (6) mini buttons each for various stuff. (see pictures). Keys are included for each cab.

The picture does not show the additional wiring for the button lights. However the buttons do light up also. Look at how nice and neat that looks!

They come with a full Street Fight IV Ultra art set for the red and black cab and full Tekken 7 for the blue and black cab. The marquees are sandwiched between two pieces of plexi and they light up also.

Here are some gratuitous beauty shots of the the red and black cabinet over all. You can see the blue and black cab in the back ground. If need be I will get detailed pictures of the blue and black cab but it is identical to the red and black cab. I forgot to get a picture of the inside (the cabinets are in storage)

So, if you have made it this far you are wondering how much this magnificent beauty costs. Well it can be yours for just $1650.00 each or $3000.00 for both. Ok, sorry about the sticker shock. However, keep in mind it requires zero work, has a full art set and has extras installed like the lighting and stuff like that.

However, they DO NOT come with a system inside. That would be a separate conversation as I have the following systems available..
  • Two (2) Heavily modified Taito Type X3
  • One (1) Modified Namco 246
  • One (1) Modified Namco 256
  • One (1) Full SNK Neo Geo motherboard, wiring, memory card, and sound board from a cabinet and yellow Neo Geo MVS multi cart. You would need some kind of JAMMA to JVS converter to make this system work in this cabinet. I started building one but never finished before I got out of the hobby.
  • As a side note I would sell a one cab with one installed TTX3 for $2000.00
I may consider partial trades as I am a sucker for comic books .. I am looking to get some cash out of this deal but, will hear out any reasonable offer though.

OK now for the bad news. I would prefer local pickup in Savannah, GA area. However for the right price I may be encouraged to take a trip some where fairly close for delivery. Shipping is not an option as I do not have the time or patience to deal with it.

All sales are final and I do not provide tech support anymore as I am trying to get out of the arcade hobby and these are my last two machines. Buyers remorse is not my problem, especially if you get in trouble with your wife.

(Edited to bring this listing in line with the listings on social media and KLOV)

Ok ive had a few questions.

Yes, I am open to negotiations as long as they are reasonable offers.

I however feel like the no shipping is a barrier. Sadly, I will not budge on this. Maybe if you know someone in or around the Savannah, Georgia area they could come retrieve it from me and they could ship it.

Feel free to private message me and I will be happy to discuss anything with ya.

I’m sorry about your situation, even if mutual I’m sure never fun.

The game looks great. I have pretty much the same one. I wouldn’t mind having another but can’t make any promises just yet.

I have also decided to sell my blue and black Chewlix. Its in the exact same condition as the red and black one.

Also I have game systems i can include. PM me and we can discuss.

I am going to try to get pictures of everything this weekend.

If you were waiting for a price drop or a deal this is it! I will sell bother cabs together with no systems for $3000! This offer is only good until this coming Sunday night!

Alternatively I would sell a Chewlix and a TTX3 together for $2150. Got a counter offer .. PM me!

I made the sale a permanent part of the listing!

Even better I am traveling down to Daytona/Orlando in a few weeks to see a friend and would be willing to deliver for free if we can work out a deal before hand.

I updated the listing to fall in line with what I listed on KLOV and all over social media.

Still for sale.

I may be going down to Daytona / Orlando at the end of August to possibly attend a comic convention.

Price drop (sort of). If you buy both cabs I am willing to go down to $2600 for both cabs with no systems included and still prefer local pickup (so no shipping included). That's $400 off combined from my original price.

Do you know if I can use a exa-arcadia motherboard which is jvs with your cabs ?

How much do the weight ?

Thanks in advance

I am not sure about the weight but this is what Google says "An official, original Taito Vewlix arcade cabinet generally weighs between 231 and 265 pounds (105 to 120 kg) fully loaded, though specific weights vary by the exact model."

I have never seen or used an Exa-Arcadia but Google says "The exA-Arcadia arcade system uses a DVI port for video and a JVS port for controls, with stereo audio handled via a 3.5mm jack."

So based on that it should work but you would beed to have a DVI to HDMI adapter because the nonitor in the cab only has VGA and HDMI hook ups. The Sega JVS is compatible as far as I know. For the amp / volume knob for the sound it can use RCA or 3.5mm.

Both cabs are still available. I am unable to go any lower on price because of what I have in them I am already taking a loss.

One of the TTX3s and the Sega STV are spoken for but, the rest are available.

I'm still trying to figure out if they would work with my exa arcadia

Exa-arcadia website says they are not compatible with chewlix only Viewlix

Also trying to figure out how i would get the cabinets from savanna Georgia to kentucky

Ok the video and sound should be standard. What is the current IO board you use with it now? It would be possible to create a harness to convert the cabling for the controls to whatever you need to have In there. I just don't know what it uses. Its not the cab that's not compatible its the IO board which can be swapped out. Viewlix also cost almost 3 timed what a Chewlix does.

I guess the choices are you come get it or I bring it to you. Shoot me a private message and we can talk about it if you want. I just will not prep it for shipping and try to arrange my schedule for a random shipper that gives me a 3 hour window of when they might (or might not) show up.

Both cab sold for asking price.

Some of the systems are available still. I will make a seperate post later for those
